      huyen cuoi when I say bland I mean it doesn’t taste like an ordinary delicious cookie. There’s a lack of sweetness, which shouldn’t be because it’s called a sugar
      Cookie. It’s a very odd recipe.

    I just try to make this dough and I think I may have over mixed the butter and sugar and cream cheese it wasn’t a really firm mixture but it was somewhat runny once I added the flour it made it a bit sticky will this affect my cookie? I have the dough in the refrigerator currently. Hoping this works out for the kids tonight

    Ok, it’s 2 am here and I started making this cookies like 7 pm ish waited the 2 hours for the dough to be cold and let me tell you two things, first of all the cookies taste pretty good I really like how they turned out (I didn’t use the almond extract nor the cremor tartar for the frosting), second the freakin dough it’s such a pain lol 😂 but really you have to have it really cold and be sure to not make them too thin or it’s going to be a nightmare trying to take the figures, oh yeah about the time this was my first attempt and it took me and my cousin like 5 - 6 hours to finish them but well they are really good and taste delicious and I learned how to make them so u think it’s worth it. Thanks for the recipe 😜

    The zero on the ruler starts slightly in because it will give you a consistent more accurate measure over time. The end will start to fray and then measurements will become more askew. You showed the spacer rings for the rolling pin but didn't use them. Also if you use dry pigments for the icing it will prevent it from cracking. Thank you for these helpful hints.

    My batter turned out really soft. What can I do to fix it?

      Isabel Muniz mine also turned out really soft but I still wrapped it up and put it in the freezer and once it was firm took it out and rolled it out. Once it started to get sticky or warm I put it in the fridge and that worked great!

    My mom adds peppermint or caramel extract in her sugar cookies. They're delicious. She made sugar cookies and popcorn balls yesterday. I'm going over to her place tomorrow to eat my fill.

    It's Christmas time and I want to share with you a secret for rolling perfectly the dough at the desired thickness if you don't have the rings: just put 2 knitting needles of the desired thickness at the side of your dough, the pin will be stopped at the desired thickness.
